For us, it's not about buying a new wardrobe every season or following trends for the sake of following trends. We believe that the clothes you wear and the things you accessorise with should just build on your style and make you feel great season after season, year after year. With this longevity in mind, we are always working towards making our business more sustainable, from the brands that we stock, the packaging we use and how we give back to our community. Here's just a quick snapshot of some of the things we do to uphold these values.
Rewilding with Lua
With every purchase of one of our embroidered accessories from Lua, a donation is made to Rewilding Britain, a pivotal organisation that are dedicated to protecting, restoring and regenerating the British Isles.
Love Local
Whether we're hosting an event, having a spot of work done on the shop or looking for new brands, we try to support our local vendors and tradespeople as much as possible. If we're sourcing something from further afield, we always champion the small and independently run businesses and traders.
Thoughtful Fashion
A firm favourite in our Essentials shop, Thought Clothing offers beautiful clothing that's responsibly sourced, made with natural and organic fabrics and totally plastic-free. Even the packaging they reach our shops in is compostable!
Practical packaging
In store, we're trying to eliminate the unnecessary plastic and packaging we use. Our bags and boxes are paper, so just pop them in your recycling when you're done with them. Our mail-out bags for online and postal orders and made from recycled materials and can be recycled with your plastic bags at most supermarkets. We reuse any packaging that our stock is sent to us in, and then recycle it with local partners so that our landfill impact is minimal.
Offcut Originals
We're lucky enough to stock Soruka - stunning bags, wallets and other leather goods that are made solely from leather offcuts from the fashion industry that would otherwise end up in landfill. Reducing waste, adding some seriously cool style into your wardrobe!
