Hand-knitted wool hats, gloves and scarves from Nepal.
The story
Pachamama began in 1990 and has been fairly trading since 1996, with everything handmade in Nepal from 100 per cent wool. The hats, headbands, gloves and mittens are what people know it for.
The company gives at least a tenth of the profit on every sale to childrens charities in Nepal, and is a member of the British Association for Fair Trade Shops and Suppliers.
Why we love it: Proper warmth, and the money goes somewhere good.
