The story
Kknekki hair ties have been made in Korea since 1987, woven from more than 60 threads on vintage 1960s knitting machines. A Norwegian company spotted them in an Oslo shop in 2015 and has looked after the brand ever since.
They hold firmly without damaging your hair, and footballer Erling Haaland is such a fan that he became a shareholder. Customers tend to buy several at a time.
