The story
Big Metal London was started in 1987 by James McGrath in a garden shed, and has grown into one of the UK's best-known fashion jewellery makers. It even made jewellery for Jean Paul Gaultier's costumes in The Fifth Element.
Today it is all about easy, contemporary pieces that finish an outfit without taking it over, with a growing focus on sustainability.
